MEET TELEAH

Content Creator, Writer, and Executive Producer

Hey there! Gosh, where do I begin? Welp, I've been writing stories since 2004. I penned my first script, Growing Pains for a teen youth group that was performed at my church. The play was well-received and thus began my writing journey. I would continue to write over a span of 18 years, honing my craft as a writer. Back in 2009, I launched my first production company where I brought to the stage, a powerful, thought-provoking story, The Devil Don't Live Here Anymore that centered on domestic violence. I would change my course shortly thereafter to author several books on grief, loss, and finding hope. In 2013, my stage play, The Healing Floor won the audience award in the drama category in the D.C. Black Theatre & Arts Festival's One-Act Battle Competition hosted by Petri Hawkins-Byrd, the Bailiff from the TV show, Judge Judy. I was more excited and star-struck about meeting Byrd than receiving the award!

Fast forward to 2019, armed with a greater mission and determination to write full-time, I revamped my production company into a multimedia conglomerate, Vonn Media Group (VMG) with a vision to create and produce more content. In 2020, my first feature screenplay, The Third Day was selected as a Semi-Finalist in the Big Apple Film Festival & Screenplay Competition, a Quarter-Finalist in the Page Turner Screenplay Faith-Based Competition, and a Finalist in the Orlando Urban Film Festival. In 2021, my feature documentary, The Son We Lost won several international awards to include Best Health Documentary and an Audience Award in the MasterDocs Film Festival, Winner of Award of Recognition in the ImpactDOCS Film Festival, and Best Documentary Feature in the FFTG Awards Film Festival

I work entirely independent but, I still believe a dream partnership exists with a manager, producer, or major studio looking for the stories and characters I write about. We’ll find each other soon. I have mustard seed faith. Until then, I'm going to enjoy this journey and remain humbly
